Age 79 of Oak Park Heights Passed away peacefully at home Nov. 21st with his wife and children by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Avias (Vi); sons, Brad (Eileen), Jeff (Jo), and Les (Nancy); daughters, Denise Mogren (Pat), Deanne Leone (Rich), and Jodi Collette (Tony); grandchildren, Lara (Sean), Lana, Amanda (Kevin), Andrew (Cherie), Max (Melanie), Alex (Julia), Ben (Gabby), Michael, Cece, Madeline, Louisa, Vince, David, Neil, Daniel, Joe, Maggie, Sophia, Franklin, Katie, and Lizzie; great grandchildren, Elise, Colin, Margot, Kirsten, Lukas, Mikella, and Adrienne; brother, Duane (Bonnie); nieces, nephews, extended family & friends too many to count. Preceded in death by parents, Alice and Merrill; brothers, Joseph and James; and granddaughter, Isabella. Darrell was born August 12, 1935 and raised in Lindstrom, MN, where he married his high school sweetheart, Avias Peltier. He was a loving husband and devoted family man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Mass and visitation Sat. Dec. 6, 2014 – St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lake St. Croix Beach, MN. Visitation 9:30-11:00, Memorial Tributes and Performances 11:00-12:00. Mass 12:00 with luncheon to follow.
