Age 56 of Minneapolis. Gloria passed away on May 18, 2015. She was born on January 30, 1959 in Duluth, MN to Janice and Roy Watten. Gloria graduated from Duluth Central High school in 1977 where she participated in Cross Country Skiing. Gloria received her beauticians license in Duluth, attended college in Duluth and in her younger years she was employed by JCPenney. Presently, she was employed at Saliterman & Siefferman, P.C. Law Firm in Minneapolis where she was a Principal Assistant to the Firm President. She will be dearly missed by colleagues and clients. Gloria was a talented seamstress and clothing designer. She enjoyed bead work, knitting, and biking. Her favorite band was Earth, Wind & Fire. She was by nature a sensitive, creative, and resourceful person. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and infant twin sister, Janet Lee. She is survived by siblings, Ralph (Chris) Watten, Doris (Jim) Thorsen, James Watten; cousins, Jean and Dave; and special friends, Darlene and Michele. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be a private celebration of Gloria’s life. In remembrance of Gloria, donations can be made to Animal Allies as she devoted her life to cats and dogs.
