Tierney, Timothy Edward

Age 60 of Champlin. Born January 9. 1954 in Hibbing, MN, Tim was one of eleven children. Preceded in death by father Edward Tierney, mother Marcia Laessig Tierney, second mother Ardell Gjernes Tierney, and brother Patrick. Survived by his children Daniel, Elizabeth “Izzy Girl” (Joe) Kawecki, Michael (Maggy), best buddy grandson Rowan, good friend and former wife Valerie Tierney, siblings Kathleen V. (Bob) Steenson, Kathleen A. (Ron) Gunderson, Clayton Barry (Anita), Colleen (James) Doherty, Eileen (Mike) Kelly, Thomas (Maria), Susan (Jeff) Radde, Mary (John Prosser), Margaret (Brian) Good-nough, and many dear extended family and friends. Known for his love, hilarious wit, eclectic style, and the organized chaos of his Man Cave, Tim was a collector of friends and things and will live on forever in our hearts and memories. A special thanks to Kaveh Rahmani, his personal care attendant and dear friend. Thanks as well to Fairview Hospice for adding comfort to his final days.
