Age 95 of St. Paul, Passed away peacefully on October 18, 2015 at the age of 95. An Army Air Corps World War II veteran and a retired St. Paul Fire Fighter. Preceded in death by wife of 59 years, Mary (Thill); and son David (Lynn) Plankers. Survived by children, Thomas, Joanne, and Jean (Thomas) Kimlinger; grandchildren, Andrea Plankers, Angela (Dan) Brzowski, Robert (Elizabeth) Plankers, Anthony (Mandy) Kimlinger, William (Emily) Plankers, and Theresa (Kyle) Oberg; great-grandchildren, Will, Adrianna, Andre, Amery, Nathan, Grant, Parker, James, Claire, Samantha, Amelia, and Ezra. Loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Longtime member of the St. Paul Fly Tyers Club. A gathering for family and friends is being held at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill, 164 Snelling Ave N., St Paul on Sunday, November 1 from 1-4PM. Reflection at 1:30PM.
