Fuller, Michael Laverne

Age 67, of Webster, passed away Thursday evening, November 19, 2015. Michael was born in Saint Paul, MN, on March 4, 1948, a son of the late Vern F. and Theresa P. (Apfelbacher) Fuller. He attended public schools in Saint Paul, and was a 1967 graduate of Mechanic Arts High School. Mike served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1972.  He returned to Saint Paul and resided there until his retirement five years ago when he moved to the Webster area. Mike was employed most of his adult life as a member of International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers local #34. He held various offices within the union local including Vice-President and served on the Apprentice Board. Early in his career, the union provided training for him at Dunwoody College of Technology. Mike was a hard-working, strong-willed individual. He had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. Mike loved being outdoors and golfing, fishing including ice fishing, and deer hunting. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching local races at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI. Mike cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren and liked watching sports on television with them. He also enjoyed the company of his dogs, Hoosier and Maggie. Mike is survived by his two children: Lisa (Matt) Olson and Tony Fuller, and their mother, Mary (Belmonte) Fuller; six grandchildren: Nicholas, Matthew and Kaylee Olson, and Paige, Ashlee and Tess Fuller; a sister, Rose Tschida; a brother, John Fuller; brother-in-law, Ron Lustig; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Lustig.
