Folks, Robert Warren

October 5, 1953 – February 8, 2015
Age 61 of Roberts, WI, passed away after a long battle with cancer on February 8, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Warren and Ruth Folks. Survived by wife of 36 years, Debra (Melom) Folks; daughters Becky Knaack (Willie) and Carrie Folks; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Claire, Will and Sarah; and brothers Bill Folks (Nancy) and Mike Folks (Kathy). Retired from the Star Tribune in 2009, Bob pursued his passions: motorcycle trips with friends, restoring and joyriding in his ’54 Chevy truck, and working outside with his tractors. He will always be remembered for his lifestyle of faith, loyal friendship and sense of humor. Celebration of Life 11 a.m., Friday, February 13, at Eagle Brook Church, 2401 East Buffalo Street, White Bear Lake, MN; visitation one hour prior to service.
