Dworakoski, Joyce Joan (nee Boyd)

September 1, 1942 – January 9, 2015
Age 72 of Mound. On January 9th, 2015 an angel went home to be with Her Lord and family. After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, the Lord said, “I have greater things for you to do.” Joyce is survived by husband, Roy; children, Scott and Denise; granddaughter, Kaitlyn; siblings, Debby Soderholm and Shirley (Myron) Larson; and many other relatives and friends. Joyce was active in her church and community for over 30 years. She handled the Meals on Wheels Program and loved helping others. She always touched the lives of anyone that she met and loved God with all her heart. She sang in the choir, worked with children at Mount Calvary Pre-School in Excelsior and always brought joy and happiness wherever she went. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Memorial Service will be at Bethel United Methodist Church, 2116 Commerce Blvd., Mound, MN, on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11AM with reflections one hour prior followed by luncheon. Private family burial.
