Age 74 of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 13, 2014. Preceded in death by wife, Claudia; brothers Jim and Brian; parents Mahlon and Jean. Survived by sister, Barb; sons, Michael and Eric; grandchildren, Devin, Alex, Chloe, Layla, James, and Marshall; nieces Karita, Megan, Jean, and Laurie; many other extended family members and friends including Steve Stratman. Dave was a teacher, a writer, and master of the English language. We will miss his kindness, razor sharp wit, and incredible sense of humor. He touched the lives of everyone he met. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Mike and Eric wish dad could have proofredd this before it went to press.
