Age 62, of St. Paul, MN and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Passed away on Sunday, May 18, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. A world traveler and registered nurse, Sharon shared her medical skills and her love for humanity in ICUs and ERs around the globe, including Saudi Arabia, St. Thomas, and the United States. She loved – and excelled at – art, photo-graphy, ethnic cooking, writing, and poetry. Additionally, she was adventurous, loving, energetic, and cared for everyone. Sharon loved to sail. She and Mark sailed the Caribbean for 15 years between providing food and entertainment at various Renaissance Faires throughout the US. She made friends around the world – India, China, Ireland, South America, and Europe – sharing many of her traveling stories with rekindled friendships at her high school’s 50th reunion in Saskatoon last October. Thoughts from Sharon’s heart: “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you will go.” “We will laugh more, love more, and see the world. My life.” Preceded by parents, Lawrence and Helen; sister, Laurie; brother, Ron; and treasured Scupper. Survived by husband, Mark; sister, Linda (Dave); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All will miss Sharon dearly and wish her safe and wonder-filled travels. Sharon’s celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
