Valdovskis, Arnis Janis

December 26, 1936 – March 16, 2014
Age 77 of Golden Valley, MN. He was born in Latvia, escaped with his family from the communist occupation in 1944, and settled in Minnesota in 1951. He worked in accounting at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Louis Dreyfus Corp., and Hennepin County. He always fondly remembered his coworkers at the HC Library and the Government Center. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 30 at 10 am at the Latvian Lutheran Church, 3152 17th Ave. S., Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to the Latvian Ev. Lutheran Church. Interment at a later date at Latvian Memorial Park in Tannersville, NY.
