Age 54 of Brooklyn Center, MN. Survived by wife of 33 years; Rozalinda; Children, Kristi (Ron), Jennie (Jonny), and Carl; grandchildren, Robert, Weston, and Lincoln; mother, Wanda; mother-in-law, Rose; sisters, Janet (David) and Joanna; sister-in-law, Rosemary (Chris); nephews, David, Brandon, and CJ; nieces, Alyssa and Brianna; and by John H., who was a brother from another mother. Predeceased by father, John and father-in-law, Steve. As a Captain in the Army, David was 3rd generation military and served his country proudly. That honor of service continued on through Scouting. His scouting accomplishments include Eagle Scout, OA Vigil, Scoutmaster and most recently he was very proud of what he accomplished as District Commissioner for the Northern Lights district. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West hotel (3131 Campus Dr. Plymouth, MN. 55441). In lieu of flowers donations can be made in David’s name at Wells Fargo banks, the account number is 7984669189 (or brought to the service). All donations will go towards creating a disc golf course in his name at Rum River Scout Camp in Ramsey, MN. David will have Military Honors at Ft Snelling later this spring.
