Pritchett, Kenneth Ray

Pritchett, Kenneth Ray

December 30, 1949 – September 3, 2014
Age 64, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly after complications from a stroke. He was surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; daughters, Christine (David) Engman and Dede (Scott) Bevers; grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Mackenzie, Mitchell and Hailey; great-granddaughter Alexandra “Rocket”; brother Roy (Lynne) Pritchett; sisters Patty (Don) Fretland, Betty (Myron) Olson and Jeannette (Jim) Valentine; many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins and countless other family and friends. We will miss him dearly! Ken loved the outdoors. He loved playing softball, but even more than that he loved to coach. Those who played for him and against him will remember his passion for the game and that he would never lose by being “out-coached”. He also loved to be on the water. Whether he was fishing with the guys, his family, or he was pulling kids behind the boat on skis or a tube, he was happy. Ken was a hard worker and always helping others. He was the kind of man that would do anything for those he loved, especially his wife, whether he was making her lunches or driving her to work in a snow storm so she wouldn’t have to drive. If we had one more day with you, we would tell you how thankful we are for you and how much we love you. Until we see you again.
