Age 73, passed away peacefully in her residence on May 28, 2014 with her family at her side. She fought a courageous battle against cancer and enjoyed many wonderful years during her treatments. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Shannon (Leslie) and Heather (Tom); her grandchildren, Luke and Mia; sibling, George (Toney); brother-in-law, Bill (Kay), nephew Mark (Dawn); niece, Beth (Dean), grand-nieces and nephews Hailey, Derek, Taylor, and Hunter, “Auntie” Marilyn and “Uncle” David, and many more relatives and friends. She was preceded in heaven by her parents, Mildred and George Prudhomme, and her sister, Jean. Mary Ann was born in St. Paul on March 29, 1941. She attended Washington High School, earned her Master’s Degree in Education from the College of St. Catherine, and was a dedicated teacher at North Branch Middle School. She excelled at her most important job, grandma, sharing many fun adventures, preparing yummy snacks, teaching us all important life lessons, and constantly trying to teach us proper grammar. We are grateful to our family, friends, the caregivers at Cottagewood Senior Living, and Fairview Hospice for your love and support. The Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 8 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 13025 Newell Ave., Lindstrom. 2:00 PM Service, followed by a reception & late lunch. Private interment. Should friends desire, memorials can be sent to Fairview Hospice, 110 South 6th Avenue, Princeton, MN.
