Maurer, Jewel Mary Lou (nee Larson)

Age 83 of Wayzata, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, prayer warrior, Sunday school teacher, and friend passed away on Sept 29th after a brief battle with lymphoma – we thank Methodist Hope Hospice for their care. Preceded in death by parents, Christ P. & Anne Larson of Duluth, MN and Ronald Batman & Jacob Maurer, 2 sisters & 4 brothers. Survived by 2 sister-in-laws; 6 children, Les (Ella) Batman, Sharon Batman, Chris Batman, Cindy Martin, Tim (Jill) Batman, Faith (Todd) Rekowski; 8 grandchildren, Les Jr., Janelle (Marvin), Eric (Kristin), Rebekah (Joseph), Katie, Ellie, Sarah, Mandy; 4 great-grand-children, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Shaelyn, and Malachi. Celebration/Home-going at Calvary United Pentecostal Church, 8800 Nicollet Ave. S., Bloomington, MN 55420 on Oct 11, at 11:00am, luncheon to follow. Memorial to Jewel & family to CUPC in lieu of flowers.
