Link, Brian Joseph

February 15, 1955 – February 20, 2014
Link, Brien Joseph Age 59, passed away peacefully at home on 2/20/14 after a 3-year cancer journey. A lifelong Minneapolis resident, born to Ralph Link and Sharon O’Brien Link on 2/15/55, Brien graduated from Southwest High School and the U of MN. He was a longtime union steward with GCIU and a trade union activist. Brien cared deeply about workers rights, social justice and the environment. He worked as a paralegal at Ameriprise Financial for 18 years. Brien enjoyed biking the urban trails, playing Celtic music on his mandolin, attending concerts and spending time with family & friends. Preceded in death by father, Ralph; and Welsh terrier, Dewey. Survived by Milissa, loving wife of 25 years; son, Benjamin Quinn (Elisabeth Arnold); mother, Sharon; brother, Barry (Penny); sister, Shannon Stover (Dan); aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews; and Irish terrier, Finbarr Magee.
