Age 82, was called home to the Lord on Friday, August 30, 2013. He was a Korean war vet and long time teamster of local 120. Preceded in death by parents Emma & J. Elmer Johnson, sister Sybil Harmen and daughter Shirley. Survived by loving wife of 39 years, Mary Johnson and brother Meritt Johnson. Children: Jean (Pete), Len (Cindy), Rose, Robert, Rebecca (Dan) Rowe, Miranda Johnson, Patty, Lisa (David) Leonidas, Scott (Delisa) Johnson, Sherri Gallegos and Sandy (Steve) and 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Oakwood Church, 1388 Point Douglas Rd. S. St. Paul, MN 55119. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm at the church with private burial at Newport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
