Hessian, James “Jay” Gerard

August 25, 1954 – December 24, 2013
Age 59 of St. Louis Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends and family on December 24, 2013. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by wife, Lori; sons, Billy and Scott; mother, Rita; brother, Dave; sisters, Paula, Mary, Joan, and Amy; many other relatives and friends. Jay will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and faithful friend. His humor and compassion will be remembered and cherished by those who knew him. Jay worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 2010. He was working part time at Guardsmark Security. Visitation Sunday, 5-8 PM at Wagner Funeral Home, 17365 Johnson Memorial Dr. (Hwy 169), Jordan. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 313 East Second Street, Jordan, MN, with visitation at 10 AM. Memorials will be distributed amongst an assortment of Jay’s favorite charities.
