Age 71 Of Stillwater, MN went home to his Lord, Jesus on Sept. 8, 2014 at the Hospice Gathering in Stillwater. The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley Church in Afton, Mn. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Keith was born in St. Paul, Mn., on April 29, 1943. He was a resident of Stillwater his whole life and graduated from Stillwater H.S. in 1961. Keith worked at Andersen Windows as a purchasing agent for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer and was an honorary member at Stillwater Country Club. His passion for singing led him to over 50 years of singing, starting in church choir and leading to being a member of a number of Barbershop Quartets, St. Croix Valley Chordsmen, and spent the last thirty years singing with the Great Northern Union Chorus. He was a regular volunteer every Monday for the past 10 years at the St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity and loved working with his hands. He was involved with his church activities and Men’s Bible Study. Keith is survived by his wife of 10 years, Gwynne Fransen and step-son, Devin Foley and his wife Nicole and four grandchildren, and three nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rev. Paul Fransen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Harmony Foundation, Lakeview Hospice, and Brydge’s Center Orphanage.
