Deiters, Nancy Louise (nee Farrington)

Age 82 of North Oaks, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gary Deiters, and her parents, Lurline (nee Gutzler) and William Farrington. Nancy is survived by her children, Gary (Linda) of Shoreview, Barbara (Jay) of Woodbury, and Susan (Tom) of Wilmette, IL. She was a loving grandmother to Jimmy, David, Michael, Sarah, and Gerritt and sister in law to Gretchen and Ron Diegnau of Rosemount. Nancy was born in Waterville, MN and worked on the family owned newspaper, The Waterville Advance. She then graduated from Macalester College and married Gary in 1955. After living in the midwest for 40 years, they retired to Tucson, AZ where they lived until Gary’s passing in 2008. Nancy was an avid bridge player, an active member of the Anglican Church of St. Dunstan, and the Children’s Hospital Guild. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1:00 pm at the Anglican Church of St. Dunstan, 4241 Brookside Avenue, St. Louis Park, with visitation one hour prior at the church.
