Callahan, Helen Leona (nee Beecham)

January 22, 1937 – March 15, 2014
Age 77 of Oakdale, MN. Entered into Heaven on March 15, 2014 while at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by son, Dave (Stephanie); daughter, Dee Dee Davis (Phil); grandchildren, Jeff, Matthew, Joey, Jonny, Griffen, Tristan and Delaney; great-grandchildren, Mason and Max; sisters, Alice, Mary, Eileen and Rita; brother Tom; many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Bella. Preceded in death by husband, Bernie; parents, Hubert and Grace Beecham; brothers, Gene and Joe; and good friend Rita. Helen was a St. Paul Public School teacher for over 40 years. She had many good friends and will be remembered for her loving, caring, and generous nature, her humor and her strength. She will be dearly missed.  Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 21, 12PM, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2600 Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation at 11AM.  Memorials preferred to the family.
