Brambilla, Paul Andrew “Tall Pall”

September 26, 1940 – July 12, 2014
Paul (Tall Paul) Andrew Brambilla, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2014, winning his battle with cancer. He was born September 26, 1940 to George and Edith (Ernston) Brambilla in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from De La Salle High School in 1958 and served in the United States Army from 1963-65. Paul married Linda (Anderson) along with her two children on June 25, 1977. The family moved to Princeton (Spencer Brook) that same year.
The three jobs Paul always liked to talk about were being a guide and ranch hand at a riding stable, a poleman for Western Union and working at the Dept. 56 warehouse in Rogers from which he retired. His pleasures in life were auctions, fishing, searching for agates and polishing them and camping in a tent. Each of these he would share with the younger ones in the family. Paul and his wife would take a couple of nieces, nephews or grandkids camping with them each time, showing the kids how to really rough it. He also enjoyed having a camper up on Knife Lake in Mora, his pontoon boat and the campfires in the evening. Even at home in the winter Paul would have a campfire going. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda; daughter Gina Anderson; ex-daughter-in-law Melissa Eisenbraun; four grandchildren Megan Eisenbraun, Mandi Eisenbraun (Corey Shoultz), Mariah Perich and Gage Perich; three great-grandchildren Aiden and Caelyn Burt and Beau Levi Shoultz; siblings Wally (Jane) Brambilla, Father Charles Brambilla, Mary (Brambilla) Tuinenga, Norma (Chuck) Davis and Thomas Brambilla. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Edith Ernston Brambilla. At Pauls request he was cremated which was through Crescent Tide; a memorial will be held for Paul on September 28 at their home. Contact Linda for further information.
