Age 67, Of Maplewood, MN. Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother Passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by her family on September 26, 2014, following a courageous battle against cancer. Preceded in death by her parents Francis and Eleanor Courtney. Survived by beloved husband of 46 years, Jim; children Chantle Andersen; Marnique Puhalla (Patrick); and James Boyer (Ashly Grady); grandchildren Tony, Mitchell (Jonie), Jackson, Alyssa, Trenton and great grandchild Delilah; sister, Kathy Layer ; in-laws, nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives, and friends. Was a cosmetologist for 48 years and enjoyed cooking for everyone. She will be deeply missed. Visitation with family will begin at 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church, 2280 Stillwater Ave, Maplewood, MN. Private Family Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
