Age 68 of Coon Rapids lost his fight with cancer on 12/17/2013. Born in Sheridan, WY, on October 9, 1945, to Charles and Marjorie Bergman, he was a proud Navy veteran who loved fishing and spending time with friends and family. George was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan, mother (Marjorie), father (Charles), and three siblings. He is survived by spouse, Jacqueline; sons, Bill Baker (Julie) and Russell Muck Bergman; four grandchildren; and brothers Robert and Tom. An informal memorial service to celebrate George’s life will be held in the spring at his favorite fishing hole. Memorials preferred to the family and can be forwarded to the funeral home, Crescent Tide, 764 Transfer Rd., St. Paul, MN 55114. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to friends and family and to the Veterans Administration.
