Arnesen, Mary Ellen (nee Burns)

Arnesen, Mary Ellen Age 88, of Roseville, passed away on May 5th. Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Peter Arnesen Jr. She is survived by three sons: Peter (Lori) of Woodbury, Paul of Plymouth, and Terry of Stillwater, along with eight grandchildren. While Herb worked for 3M they lived in Fairmont MN, Cumberland WI, and Roseville MN. She played a good game of bridge, was a founding member of a book club – which started in 1965 and continues to this day, and enjoyed the lake life at Pelican Lake. She was an avid U of M Gopher sports fan dating back to her first Gopher football game that she attended in 1942. A special thanks to Drs. Donald Gehrig, Bronagh Murphy and Maja Visekruna, to her wonderful hospice team, and a very special thanks to Tam McGehee, friend and care give extraordinaire. Memorial Service Thursday, June 5th, at 11 AM at United Church of Christ, Falcon Heights. Memorials to Women Fellowship at United Church of Christ.
