Born in Ashland, Wisconsin to Eleanor Kucik & Joseph Allis, Sr. Survived by son Daniel Allis & daughter Lisa Allis; grandchildren, Troy, Jake, and Elizabeth; brother, Vincent; sisters, Kris, Karen, Marian & Bev. Missed by many nieces & nephews and ex-wife Judy. Preceeded by brother, Ben and sister, Andrea. Air Force Sgt. during the Vietnam war; delivering supplies for 4 years. Joe was an accountant at Rexnord, Inc. He was a pig, goat, rabbit, chicken, and bee farmer. Always had a watch dog and a cat to catch mice! A garden to grow vegetables, and he’d make sure you had one too! “God watches over us,” he’d say. Even though he worked very hard, and one…two…three… were his favorite words, he was always very kind and thought of you first. He had a positive attitude no matter the situation! Memorial services in Virginia, MN on June 7th, 2014 and in Milwaukee, WI on June 14th, 2014 at Grace Community Church. Inurnment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on June 9th, 2014, 11AM. Meet at Assembly Area #4 at 10:45AM. He makes you want to be, just a little…like him.
