Peterson, Goodrich Allen

Age 89, of Big Lake, passed away March 13, 2013. A Marine veteran of WWII, he also drove one of the first U.S. Highway Post Office buses out of the Twin Cities area, and was a longtime driver for Jefferson Lines, who enjoyed playing his banjo and harmonica in a traveling polka band in his early years. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl. Survived by his loving wife and caretaker, Margaret; sons, Gary (Virginia) Peterson, Edward Peterson, and Bradley (Lynn) Peterson; daughter, Lisa (Frank) Fuller; brother, Leroy Peterson; granddaughters, Amber, Chelsea, Courtney, Leanne, and Sarah; grandsons, Kevin, Daniel, and Scott; great-grandson, Liam; and 13 nieces and nephews. Memorial service 11 AM Wednesday, March 20th, at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake Street South (Highway 25), Big Lake, MN, 55309.
