van Gorkom, Barbara Elizabeth (nee Paul)

May 17, 1953 – November 18, 2012
Age 59 of Ashland, WI, formerly of St. Paul. She went to be with Jesus on November 18th, surrounded by a prayerful and loving family, after complications from heart surgery. Barb was born on May 17th, 1953 to Lloyd Paul, now deceased, and Mary Angela Paul (Vandenberg). Barb graduated from North St. Paul Sr. High in 1971, and Globe College of Business. She enjoyed her perennial garden and the humming birds that surrounded her Ashland, WI home. She also had a passion for the MN Vikings. She will be missed by her devoted husband, Tim; loving children, Christopher (Rachel) and Jenna; grandson, Jasper; sisters, Sandra, Carol, and Gayle; brothers, Roger and Allan; and many other loving family members and friends. She was greeted in heaven by her father and brother, Raymond Paul. A Christian Memorial Celebration will be held on Friday, Nov. 23rd, 7PM, at Lake Harriet Christian Church, 5009 Beard Ave. S, Mpls, 55410. Memorials preferred to the family.
