Age 78, of Edina, originally of Ruthton, MN. At 4:00 p.m. Thursday, the world lost a very special and honorable man. Our loss is certainly Heaven’s gain. Erdman and his wife Evonne have enjoyed many happy years together. They enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time with their many family members and friends. Erdman always had time for everyone and gave everything with a happy heart. He served in the United States Navy from 1952-1956. He worked for 28 years with the Edina School District, and was held in the highest esteem by all his co-workers and the entire faculty. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Alta, and Evonne’s son, Todd. Survived by wife, Evonne; her three daughters, Laurie (Todd), Cherie and Nancy (Steve); his children, Ray, Steven (Sharon), David (Shannon); his grandchildren, Paul (Jessica), Jennifer (fiancé Robert), Heather, Rebecca, Maxwell, Collin, Nicholas and Justin; brother, Levi (June); four nieces and many cousins and friends. A Celebration of Erdman’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5029 Zenith Ave, Edina, MN. Visitation prior to service beginning at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m. and a Luncheon to follow. Private Family interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
