About Us

Our mission is to change the funeral industry and people's perspective of it.

Crescent Tide Funeral & Cremation was started by Verlin Stoll, licensed funeral director and graduate of the University of Minnesota, to be a different kind of funeral and cremation service. We do not have a facility that can hold funeral and memorial services. Instead, we coordinate with churches, nursing home chapels and cemetery chapels to hold these services. However, if you wish to have the service in a traditional funeral home setting, we will often be able to rent the chapel of a local funeral home. What we do provide is a comfortable environment where the family of the deceased can make the final arrangements. We also have on-site preparation facilities and a private viewing room where the immediate family can spend time in private with the deceased in lieu of, or in addition to, a public viewing/funeral prior to cremation or burial.
